The Minnie Maud Ridge CWMU consists of approximately 16,125 acres. The ranch offers a varity of terrains and hunting experiences.
As you research the unit for a possible hunt, we are happy to provide as much information as we can to help you make a comfortable decision.
Below are some answers to commonly asked questions:
- What is the guest policy: Each hunter may bring 1 guest and 1 vehicle unless other arragements are made with the operator.
- What is the scouting policy: No scouting on the the ranch will be allowed prior to the hunt. We will have a meeting at our ranch in July prior to the season starting. After a brief orientation we will show the boundries of each ranch, cover access points, and give gate combinations.
- Access: The CWMU has a good road system and can be accessed by trucks/ATV's. Hunters will be required to keep all vehicles on improved roads.
- Any limited or closed areas: Yes, there certain areas may have road closures or restrictions. Contact operator for more information no limited or closed areas.
- Is there guide service available: No.
- Is camping available: Not on the ranch.
- Are maps available: Yes, maps are available on the DWR website. Link is listed below.
- Can there be open fires: No.

- Mature 3x4-4x4 Mule Deer - 73.8% harvest rate.
- Mature 5x5 + Elk - 58.3% harvest rate.
